cool, do you have sleeping stuffsies because I dont have a spare bedroom these days - although i've broken my minimalist habbit with a trip to Ikea and do at least have some shelves and a table nowadays.
It's probably not fair to second guess what she wants either, I don't know Kirsty very well - well barely at all tbh - but if there's one thing I know about women it's that in a weeks time there's just no way of knowing what our hormones will tell us to do!
I should say something supportive here, but yep, you hit the nail on the head. This time try to learn that decisions made with alchohol are invariably bad, but more importantly, decisions that effect your entire future should not be made on a whim - acting impulsively is what I do, leave it to the professionals .
Now that's a different matter altogether. You've been with Kirsty what, 5 years is it now? And honestly what are you really bored of, the same person or the fact you're always broke so you settle into the routine of scraping through without really doing anything other than buy a micromeal a 4 pack and sit watching telly?
If I was your un-qualified doctor I would prescribe you one random frivillous thing every month - goto a concert or something other than hitting the gambling machines and getting wasted of a weekend. Because if there's one thing i've learned is you don't get bored of people - you get bored of what you share with any given person, and the way to fix that isn't to find new people but to find new things to share with the ones that you know - otherwise you just do the same with somebody else.
Oh I didn't know you where coming Dan! Are you taking the Friday off work? I'm going to have Tor here on the Thursday night - we could get wasted and you can save the first 25 minutes [of the 4 hour drive] by crashing over...?
They deserve it for having a sexy car with the most awesome engine sound ever to turn a wheel at Le Mans. They are by far the sexiest cars ever to race, I cannot think of another racing car as gorgeous or with such a lovely singing voice. The fact that it's pretty damn fast is just a bonus.
I suspect she doesn't want to split any more than you do Dan. Perhaps this is a time when one of those overwhelming gestures you've always thought too ridiculous or too outrageous might come in handy?
Aston Martin will be at Le Mans next year, but they are yet to decide which class they will compete in, either LMP1 if petrol is not disadvantaged, or if it is they'll go back to winning GT in the new reformed GT2 category.
I'm kinda annoyed with Radio Le Mans heckling Davidson, i've been arguing with Eve Hewitt (RLM boss) about it on facebook, they just wont accept that people can have another opinion to theirs (my argument being that Davidson had sufficient overlap, the inside line and was passing a blue flagged car which didn't see him until too late).
The 009 Aston did actually complete more laps than the winning Oreca, but i'll accept when i'm beaten - to win in Le Mans you have to cross the finish line.
I'm very worried about the new hybrid rules for next year, the ACO have failed to ballance petrol versus diesel and there's no reason to believe they'll be able to do the same with the hybrids. It's not the ACO's fault, developments in diesel are moving ahead in leaps and bounds whereas petrol engines are already highly developed - but some meens of planning against hybrid dominance needs to be taken.
For sure, I actually would have preffered the Pugs to win over Audi because chavs drive Audi's and i'm not keen on open top prototypes, they're twin seater formula cars and they look daft. In any case we all know that Aston Martin are the true winners of this race, because Pug and Audi are using the Diesel speed hack
Woah that marshall on the apex whilst they recovered the 009 car is insane! Totally the wrong place to stand as he forced the cars to go wider... straight into the path of the other marshalls and the Aston...
As far as I can tell Pug #2 was leading and had an engine fire, not sure what's happened with Pug #1 but that had some kind of accident with the Corvette leading GT2, Pug #1 is hunting down the Audi's and the 'Vette is running but out of contention.
HPD still 1-2 in LMP2 and the GT1 with least problems is a Saleen, followed by an Aston Martin.
Aston Martin are still the top LMP1 in the Green X Challenge with the HPD's leading overall.
Through a combination of old age and a small bought of consumption, I fell asleep at midnight (1am race time). Can someone bring me up to date on the big events please?
An intermittant gearbox problem had them in the pits for 26 minutes after which they still had the problem and came back in, that was the last I heard ~half hour ago. Live timing still shows them in the pits.
I had the Eurosport 2 HD one going a while back but it went to 2 gorgeous girls playing tennis, I must admit I considered giving Le Mans some time out, but my sexual desire got the better of me and I switched over to a standard quality Eurosport 1 stream to satisfy it.
